Questions, answered.

Does CubTime work without internet? +
Yes. The agent enforces time limits and schedules entirely on-device. When internet comes back, it syncs usage with the dashboard. You can even unlock a device offline using a 6-digit code generated on your parent app.
Can my child uninstall it? +
No. On Android the agent is registered as a device admin, which prevents uninstall without parent authorisation. On Windows it runs as a protected service. You'll always have the override codes to get back in if something goes wrong.
What data do you collect? +
The minimum to make the product work: your email, your subscription, and per-device time usage in minutes. No screenshots. No keystrokes. No content. No ads, ever. We're GDPR and COPPA aware by design.
Does it work on iOS? +
Not yet. iOS makes building this kind of app far harder than Android or Windows. We're tracking it for a future release. In the meantime, CubTime supports Windows PCs and Android devices — the two most common family-shared screens.
Who built this? +
A parent with two kids, a background in engineering, and a deep dislike of the other parental control apps on the market. We built CubTime because we needed it at home. The rest of the world is welcome to use it too.
How do I cancel? +
One click in your account settings. No emails, no retention calls, no dark patterns. If you cancel mid-month you keep access until the end of the billing period.
